Piedmont, Ala. Sept. 25-Friends here, in Jacksonville and over the state were interested to learn of the marriage of Miss Tullye Borden, and Mr. Marshal Olds, of New York City, on September 12, the ceremony taking place in New York, at Baptist Tabernacle, Dr. Fosdic, officiating.
The bride, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.R. Borden, of Piedmont, received her primary education here. Last years she received her master's degree from Columbia University. She has for years been well known in the teaching profession, and served two years as supervisor of rural schools of Calhoun county, and also was county supervisor for two years in North Carolina. She has a host of friends who have watched her rapid advance in her work with interest and pleasure. The groom is a graduate of Yale University, and is a prominent business man of New York City, where the couple will make their home. The bride's host of friends are awaiting with pleasure the couple's visit home, when they will shower them with congratulations and good wishes.
