  • Notes
    • married Mary Worthley, April 7, 1695. Probably on account of some of the political troubles of the day, the Attorney General was directed in 1734 to file an information against him. In 1739 he was of Chester, Burlington county. In 1750 he resided at Evesham, Burlington county. He had a suit in chancery against Richard Stout, but his solicitor, John Coxe, threw up the case in a huff, saying that he could not get justice from Gov. Belcher, the Chancellor ex-officio.--N. J. Archives, XIV., 505; XI., 580; VII., 542-3, 547.
