Notes - Thomas Jefferson Flinn, 77, died at 7:00 o'clock Thursday night at the Lawrence County Infirmary following an illness since Monday. The body was prepared for burial at the Sherwood-Ferguson funeral home and will lie in state there after 4:00 p.m. today. Funeral services will be held at the Sherwood-Ferguson Chapel at 2:00 o'clock Saturday afternoon with Brother William Williams of Pinhook officiating. Burial will be made in the Pinhook cemetery.
The son of Aaron and Agnes Speer Flinn, the deceased was born in Lawrence County December 28, 1868. He married Clara Isis Speer, who has preceded him in death.
Survivors are a son, Oliver Flinn, of Bedford, and two daughters, Mrs. Homer (Flossie) Allen and Mrs. Clarence (Mary) Dalton, both of Lawrence County. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Ellis Flinn.
